It was indeed a pleasant Christmas when me and other Music Photography Crazies – as we former students of Ms. Niña Sandejas tagged ourselves, when we were featured in this Yahoo.ph article. Thank you Ma’am Nins for this feature! Check out other great photos by fellow crazies in this feature: 17 local fotogs share their fave music moments in 2013

“Farewell to my friends, thought I’d leave you all behind, yeah oh no” – Piece of this; P.O.T.
This song was the first thing that came to mind when I heard the sad news that Karl Roy had passed away.
Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at around 1:00am, news circulated that the rock icon succumbed to cardiac arrest.
In the past years, he has already suffered multiple strokes. A benefit concert was even held last 2008 for his treatment and recovery.
Karl Roy’s musical career will be remembered with the bands – Advent Call, P.O.T. and Kapatid.
This photo I took was very first one I was fortunately able to take of Karl Roy and sadly enough, also didn’t think was to be my last one.
Karl Roy may have bid his last farewell, but for us who continue to support and believe in Pinoy Rock music, we will always have a piece of him through his music.
